Grants for the Arts seminar

by David Gaffney

Tuesday 20th October  10am

Rochdale Pioneers' Museum, Toad Lane, Rochdale OL12 0NU

David Gaffney, Relationship Manager at ACE will be giving a talk for artists thinking of making an individual application to Grants for the Arts on Tuesday 20th October at Rochdale Pioneers' Museum at 10am.

He will deliver an overview and take questions. There will then be an opportunity for a limited number of 1:1 discussions with David. The only requirement is that you, as an individual, Must Have An Idea to Pitch. You don’t need to reveal the idea to us, but you must have one!

So if you are at the point of making an application, or have one underway and need help, book a 1:1. If you would just like to hear the overview, that's fine. Rick will be around all morning anyway, making people cups of tea while they wait for their 1:1 and will be happy to look through the application form and maybe do a dummy bid.

Lunch will be served at 12 noon - please let Rick know if you can stay and whether you have any dietary requirements.

We are committed to developing and promoting the arts, and participatory arts in particular, as widely as we can.

We are also keen to provide opportunities for people to get involved with the arts on a number of levels, from volunteers to professional artists.

We are active members of several networks, some more formal than others. C-PAL is a consortium of participatory arts groups in the North West which is developing initiatives in professional development.
